BUFFALO, N.Y. (AP) - A new canal-themed water attraction is taking shape in Buffalo. The Buffalo News reports that replica canals were being test-filled this past week at Canalside. SYRACUSE, N.Y. (AP) - A pair of peregrine falcons is back at a nest box on Syracuse's 23-story State Tower Building. A member of group of local bird lovers that keeps track of the nest told the Post-Standard of Syracuse that they are convinced there are eggs in the nest box.
