Hair vitamin industry booms

Could the secret to long, luscious hair be found inside a magic pill?

The hair vitamin industry is booming, raking in $176 million each year. Even celebrities like Kylie Jenner are posting photos of their favorite hair supplements on social media.

But buyers beware: The vitamin industry is not regulated by the Food And Drug Administration, and those pills you're popping may not be as effective as promised.

Dr. Rob Silverman of Chiro Care New York suggests looking for certifications on the bottle before making a purchase.
