Blue ribbons torn down on Staten Island

A video of a man ripping down blue ribbons meant to honor police officers, has gone viral.

Steve Worono of Staten Island took the video and put it on Facebook, where it was racked up over 3 million views and many angry comments The man in the video, Stephen Varvaro, has since apologized but the backlash continues in the tightknit community.

Tara headed to the borough to gauge reaction and put up some ribbons of her own.
