Murder mystery in New Jersey

A Montclair family is living every parent's nightmare after their 20-year-old daughter disappeared for a week and was found murdered.

The family of Sarah Butler was planning her funeral Monday, four days after her body was found discarded in the Eagle Rock Reservation. Butler's family had last seen her two days before Thanksgiving, when she stopped home, ate a meal, and said she was going out.

Police have not said whether they have any suspects in the killing, or how Butler died. Her father Victor Butler said he is not focused on vengeance, but on burying his daughter and consoling his wife and daughters.

Anyone with information on Sarah Butler's murder should contact the Essex County Prosecutor's Office Homicide/Major Crimes Task Force at 1-877-TIPS-4EC (1-877-847-7432). Crime Stoppers is offering a $10,000 reward for information leading to an arrest.
