Hoop dreams

Amelia Wieger goes out on the weekends like any other 20-something. But unlike most millennials, she always brings her hula hoop. And not just any old hula hoop like you remember from childhood. Hers are decked out with multicolored, pattern-changing LED lights inside.

Amelia has a passion for "hooping," which is a flow art form combining hula hooping, dance and acrobatics.

Nicole chased the story to The Circus Place in Hillsborough NJ, where Amelia has turned her passion into a career. She teaches hooping and other aerial classes, five days a week to young girls and boys.
