See something, say nothing

John Heinlein of North Bergen was on a bus home from South Carolina last week when he reported a suspicious bag.

John tried unsuccessfully to reach several local police stations.

Finally Port Authority police pulled the bus aside and had it thoroughly searched before entering the Holland Tunnel. The bag yielded no explosives but instead untaxed cigarettes. The other passengers were against the move because it disrupted their day. The Port Authority police say john did the right thing and continue to encourage others to do the same in the future.
