Runway of Dreams fashion show

The Runway of Dreams fashion show that took place Thursday at The Capitale in NYC was revolutionary.

Instead of traditional looking models, the models on this runway had disabilities. They included people with Down syndrome, paralysis and more.

None of this would have been possible without mastermind Mindy Scheier.

She couldn't find fashionable clothing for her son that was similar to what his peers were wearing, so she decided to create some.

Tommy Hilfiger joined her endeavor and this fashion show is just the tip of the iceberg.

Sibile spoke to Liam Rust, one of the models.

"I usually wear sweats and a regular T-shirt. Now I can wear this and it's really fun," Rust said.
