There is a new kind of newsstand in New York City, called the New Stand.

In a prime location to catch commuters, they stock fashion fixes and other needs for walk of shamers -- for a couple of bucks you can don some fresh drawers before heading to the office.

Lex Kendall and his creative team collaborate with fashion and beauty brands to offer quick fix conveniences at an affordable price.

“We see ourselves as a day improvement company. So we want to think about what’s amazing music? How can design kind of enhance your day? You know become trusted creator of product and of content, I don’t think Duane Reade really tries to do that,” Kendall said.

The Union Square Subway station at 14th and Broadway is one of the biggest hubs of New York City transit with multiple major subway lines -- prime walk of shame real estate.

Even if you don't fit the description, the New Stand carries handy items for all busy New Yorkers, from toothbrushes to fashion first items to fix those partially ripped stockings to bike helmets.

Kendall and his team of 8 spent two years working on this concept and were granted a 10 year contract by the MTA. They also have another location in Brookfield Place Subway station.
