FOX Beat: Sylvester Stallone returns as 'Rocky' in new film 'Creed'

Sylvester Stallone reprises his most famous role of 'Rocky' in the new film 'Creed.' The film follows Stallone as he trains Adonis, son of his former opponent-turned-friend Apollo Creed, on his way to his own championship match.

FOX 5’s Kevin McCarthy caught up with Stallone to talk about the new movie and to chat about some famous moments from the original film – including the iconic scene of 'Rocky' running up the steps of the Philadelphia Museum of Art.

Stallone told Kevin the many of street scenes in the original, including the famous 'steps' scene and the moment when a passerby tosses the fighter an orange, were unscripted and unrehearsed. He said the crew was working quickly so as not to get in trouble with police for not having permits. Many of those scenes were shot in one take.

Stallone said his original run up the art museum steps was to include his characters dog - but the dog's weight ruled it out of the scene.

'Creed' will hit theaters November 25:
