Photo of military moms breastfeeding in uniform goes viral

- A photo from Fort Bliss is going viral, it features a group of soldiers doing something that was not accepted in the military years ago. The ten women in the picture are breastfeeding their babies.

A dedicated nursing room was being built in the Fort Bliss Army post in El Paso, Texas. Photographer Tara Ruby who once served in the Air Force offered to take a picture to hang in the room to show women can be both amazing moms and soldiers.

She partnered with Fort Bliss officials to get a mom or two to show up...instead, this group arrived in uniform with their babies. All of the women received prior approval for the photo from their commanding officers.

Her focus is now to completely decorate the nursing room walls with pictures of military moms breastfeeding their babies.
