SEPTA Bus Evacuated After Snake Found On Board

- A SEPTA driver was forced to evacuate a bus Sunday afternoon after a snake was located curled up on a seat.

According to a SEPTA spokesperson, a man got on the Route 52 bus with a snake around his neck just before 4:00 p.m. A jacket was used to cover and hide the snake.

During the ride, the snake got loose, and was found curled up on a seat.

SEPTA says the driver evacuated the bus and called animal control.

Everyone was able to safely exit the bus.
