Hank Flynn is a native Southerner whose family moved to the New York City area when he was a teenager.
A journalist who embraces new projects, tools and technology, he was the first reporter on the air for FiOS1 News New Jersey the day it went to air, and is one of the first one-man band reporters in the nation to go live, solo, from the field, using LiveU Pack technology.
A Philly area resident who got his start at WZBN-TV in Trenton, Hank has reported extensively on central and northern New Jersey, including such stories as the inauguration of Gov. Chris Christie, the 2009 federal corruption sting and the 2009 Hudson River midair collision that killed nine people.
He also gained international experience as a foreign correspondent and bureau chief at the United Nations for two years.
Hank is glad to be back where he belongs: chasing New Jersey.
