The Children's Theatre of New Jersey

This week, Valerie highlights The Growing Stage, The Children's Theatre of New Jersey, celebrating their 20th anniversary of being housed in the Palace Theatre in Netcong, New Jersey.

Executive Director, Steve Fredericks talks about the "labor of love" renovation of the historical building these past twenty years, and about the new play that the Growing Stage is currently presenting.

And Then Came Tango, by Emily Freeman, is based on the true story of two male penguins who fostered a penguin egg in Central Park.

The play is all about the definition of family and it is receiving it's world premiere this month.

Check out this heartwarming play, and the fabulous Palace Theatre! And Then Came Tango plays through March 29 at The Growing Stage.
