Millburn BOE Names Robert Zywicki Superintendent of Schools

The Millburn Board of Education has completed its search for a new superintendent of schools and has offered the position to Robert Zywicki, Board President John Westfall-Kwong announced at Monday's meeting of the school body.

Westfall-Kwong added that the board and Zywicki are in the process of negotiating the terms of a contract of employment and, once the contract has been reviewed and approved by the Essex County Superintendent of Schools, the Board of Education will vote on execution of the contract.

Pending approval, Zywicki will join the district effective July 1, the Millburn board president added.

The new superintendent would succeed Christine Burton, who has been interim superintendent since the resignation of James Crisfield at the beginning of this year.
