Overwhelming response to rainbow photo

- It's the rainbow that has been seen around the world. A photo of a rainbow that appears to originate at the site of 1 World Trade has been shared on social media thousands of times. The photo was taken on the eve of the 14th anniversary of the September 11 attacks by Ben Sturner. The CEO of Leverage Agency, a sports, marketing and entertainment firm in New York City, says the reaction to the photo has been 'incredible.'

Sturner, who lives with his wife and 1-year-old son, says the wildly popular picture taken from his terrace at about 7 a.m. on Sept. 10, is only one of thousands of photos he's captured over the years from his spectacular vantage point.

But this photo was unlike any other.

"I've seen rainbows occasionally from my terrace and my apartment, but I’ve never seen a rainbow quite like this. I was blown away with the picture. It was only a couple of minutes. I posted it thinking I’ll get a friend or two re-posting it. I could never have imagined this reaction," said Sturner.

As an entrepreneur, he says he knows what it's like to get knocked down, and the photo is symbolic of getting back up.

The executive took to Facebook Friday morning with this update: "Posted a photo on Facebook 24 hours ago and hard to believe the incredible response and reaction it has gotten from all around the world. Thanks for all the notes. Was just at the right place at the right time. I was sent this poem last night which really is symbolic of the day, our country and its resiliency to get back up after getting knocked down. ‪#‎neverforget‬"

"I am bringing joy on a sad day. It's not me who is doing it," said Sturner.
