Diners at NJ restaurant may have been exposed to measles
NEW JERSEY (FOX 5 NY) - The NJ Department of Health is warning anyone who visited a Mexican restaurant in Englishtown that they may have been exposed to the measles.
A Middlesex County resident with the virus was at Rosalita's Roadside Cantina at 180 Route 9 North on Apr. 19 between 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Anyone who was at the restaurant at that time should contact their physician.
Individuals potentially exposed on these dates, if infected, could develop symptoms as late as May 10, according to the NJ DOH.
Measles is highly contagious. Symptoms include rash, high fever, cough, runny nose, and red, watery eyes. It can cause serious complications such as pneumonia and encephalitis (swelling of the brain).

The health department is already tracking another measles outbreak in Ocean County. As of April 5, there were 11 outbreak-associated cases in Lakewood.
