"Gangnam Style" loses YouTube's most-watched video crown

It's a Korean song that even some who don't understand Korean have heard. "Gangnam Style" was the most-watched video on YouTube.

As of 2:10 p.m. Tuesday, the song by South Korean singer Psy had approximately 2,895,377,700 views on YouTube. The song "See You Again" by Wiz Khalifa and Charlie Puth, however, had approximately 2,898,370,840 views, making it the most watched video.

Since Lady Gaga's "Bad Romance" became the most watched video on YouTube in 2009, the most-watched video crown has belonged to music videos. According to various media reports over the years, the most-watched video on YouTube title was passed to Justin Bieber's "Baby" in 2010, with "Gangnam Style" overtaking "Baby" in 2012.
