The Chatham County Sheriff's Office says the 31-year-old was arrested at 4 a.m. Saturday by the Savannah Police Department and was later released at 11 a.m. after posting $7,000 bond on charges of public drunkenness.

In addition to the public drunkenness charge, he also was arrested for disorderly conduct and obstruction.

LaBeouf reportedly ran from police to his hotel after refusing to leave the area near a Wild Wings Cafe, where he had caused a disturbance.

The actor cursed at officers in a rant that continued all the way to the police station.

According to TMZ, when he failed to convince officers to let him go, he said: "I got more millionaire lawyers than you know what to do with."

LaBeouf has faced similar charges in the past. He is in the Savannah area filming his new movie, "The Peanut Butter Falcon" that also stars Dakota Johnson.
