Cubs fans get permanent reminder of historic season

CHICAGO (FOX 32 News) - With a high-pressure game ahead, Chicago Cubs fans are showing their spirit.

The team isn't even in the world series (yet…) But some want a permanent reminder of this year's playoff push.

Some Cubs fans gearing up for Game 3 of NLCS by getting tatted up at "Kidd Joe’s Tat Cave”

FOX 32 News' Lisa Chavarria spoke with self-proclaimed die-hard Cubs fan Crystal who hit up the Tat Cave Tuesday morning to get a Cubs logo tattooed on her back. The tattoo is Crystal's fifth, but her first Cub themed tat.

The artist of the tattoo, Kidd Joe himself, says ever since the Cubs got hot, fans have flocked to his shop "all day every day."

He says the average price for a Cubs tattoo is about $100, and it takes about 30 to 40 minutes to do, depending on how well the person handles the tattoo.

While he says he has done plenty of Cubs tattoos recently, he hasn't had any requests for a World Series tattoo. (yet...)
