TRENTON, N.J. (AP) — New Jersey is facing a blast of heat and humidity on the
first day of summer.
Forecasters are predicting high temperatures in the mid to upper 90s on
Wednesday. Combined with humidity, it could feel like it's 100 to 104
There might be little relief in the evening, when low temperatures could be
in the 70s.
Forecasters say the beaches might offer some relief from the heat.
The National Weather Service has already issued an excessive heat warning
from 1 p.m. Wednesday until 6 p.m. Friday for Mercer, Gloucester, Camden and
northwest Burlington counties. Heat advisories will be in effect for most other
