fire officials say the blaze started around 9 p.m. Friday at a

spread to the second-floor bathroom of a multifamily home.
battled both blazes for several hours before bringing them under
control early Saturday. Many of the firefighters then left the scene a
short time later, but had to be recalled around 3 a.m. Saturday when
cleanup crews saw smoke coming from the multifamily home.
No injuries were reported in either fire, both of which remained under investigation Saturday afternoon.
The American Red Cross helped the displaced residents — six adults and two children — find temporary housing.
