THURSDAY, JULY 4TH

BEACH HAVEN: Bay Village and Schooners Wharf, Long Beach Boulevard. Fireworks at dusk.

BEACHWOOD: 8 p.m. Beachwood Beachfront, Bayside Avenue. Food and vendors. Fireworks at dusk.

BRICK: 2 p.m. Windward Beach, Princeton Avenue. 19th annual Summerfest Concerts. DJ music, 7 p.m. Jimmy & the Parrots, 9 p.m. fireworks.

FREEHOLD: 6 p.m. Concert and fireworks, Freehold Raceway, 3190 Route 9. Doors open 5:30 p.m., featuring the Rock & Roll Chorus and Turnstyles, with music of Bruce Springsteen, Billy Joel, John Mellancamp and Steely Dan. SEASIDE PARK: 8:30-11 a.m. Fifth Avenue Pier. Patriotic bike ride starts at the Fifth Avenue Pier and ends at the 14th Avenue Pier.

TOMS RIVER: 7 p.m. Ocean County Library, 100 Washington Ave. Garden State Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra Celebrates America.

TUCKERTON: 10 a.m. Route 8. Parade begins at Route 9 and ends at the Tuckerton Seaport, 120 West Main St. Parade; 3 p.m. Baby parade; fireworks at dusk at Tip Seaman Park, Lakeside Drive.

 

FRIDAY, JULY 5TH

ABERDEEN: 7:30 p.m., Fireman's Field, Lloyd Road and Gerard Street; Musical entertainment by DJ Adam Saber with fireworks to follow. All that is needed is a chair or blanket. Refreshments will be available for purchase; 732-583-4200.

BARNEGAT:7 p.m. Municipal Dock. Independence Day Celebration and concert. Fireworks at dusk. Rain date is July 6.
