One Chaser reports live from the Meadowlands where Barbara
Buono named Milly Silva to be her running mate. This is the 3rd time
in history where we have seen 2 women on a ticket for Governor.
Silva is the EDP for United HealthCare
Workers East. She is of Puerto Rican
decent and the mother of 3. Silva relates
to New Jersey's Hispanic community and broke out in Spanish during her speech,
where onlookers then began to chant for her.
She spoke of key issues in New Jersey like: women's health, gay rights, the
environment, increasing minimum wage and job creation.
Is this pick going to help Buono's campaign
while she is currently down in the polls. You don't want to miss tomorrow's
Chasing New Jersey when Senator Buono and Ms. Silva will be in the studio to
talk more about the campaign.
