Man Shot 24 Times Folo - My9 New Jersey

Man Shot 24 Times Folo

Posted: Updated:
Belleville, New Jersey (My9NJ) -

A Protest lead by a local Reverend was held outside of City Hall in Belleville, New Jersey to bring more attention to the man and father who was shot 24 times by local police.  The Reverend spoke directly to of our Chasers about how this incident is not only about Police Brutality but also about Race.  He explains that police often "overreact" when it comes to Latino's and crimes.

The Chasers bring the debate back to the studio where the room seems split about this situation as a whole. Many questions remain unanswered including whether or not the police officers will be held responsible for the 24 shots; they are currently still on duty.

Another Chaser joined in on this story and discovered that 3 of 4 Cops fired the 30 rounds at Cespedas.  He then hit the shooting range to prove that the firing of all those shots took less than 4 seconds.

Another debate is stirred when facts arise showing that these officers didn't have any non-lethal means to take care of this situation and guns were their only option.  The story continues tomorrow…

A sweetener cheaper than sugar but just as sweet is now in many food and drink products at the grocery store.  It's called high fructose corn syrup.  Some nutritionists, like dietician Dawn Sharp, claim it’s pretty bad for you.

The town of Elmwood Park relies on about 75 to 100 volunteer firefighters for emergencies.  Russell Fenn, IV is one of those volunteer firefighters. He was driving the department’s only ladder truck and crashed it into utility poles.  Police charged Fenn with driving under the influence and said that his blood alcohol level was twice the legal limit.
