Hank Flynn is a native Southerner whose family moved to the New York City area as a teenager.
A journalist who loves new projects and technology, he was the first reporter on the air for FiOS1 News New Jersey the day it went to air, and he is one of the first one-man band reporters in the nation to go live, solo, from the field, using LiveU Pack technology.
A Jersey City resident who got his start at WZBN-TV (Trenton), Hank has reported extensively on Central and Northern New Jersey, including such stories as the inauguration of Governor Chris Christie, the 2009 federal corruption sting, (largest in state history), and the air collision over the Hudson that killed nine people.
He has also gained international experience over the last two years as a foreign correspondent and bureau chief at the United Nations.
He is thrilled, however, to be back where he belongs, chasing New Jersey.
