Mayor Mack Talks Trenton’s Needs

Posted: Updated:
Trenton, New Jersey (My9NJ) -

Sibile chased down Mayor Tony Mack of Trenton.  He is currently under indictment for corruption and is also running for reelection. He is blaming the press and the State for the rise of violence in Trenton.  There have been 27 murders so far this year and if it continues this way, this will be the deadliest year ever in Trenton.

Mayor Mack wrote a letter to Governor Christie asking the Governor to hire 75 additional police officers in Trenton.  However, the State made it clear that the city will not receive any funding because their Mayor is currently under indictment. He was allegedly accepting over $100,000 in bribes in exchange for his action and influence in developing a parking lot on city owned property.

Back in the studio, the Chasers discuss why an indicted politician should be suspended because it ends up putting a dark cloud over the city they are running and preventing the community from growing or even being safe.

And fellow New Jersey Chaser, Hank Flynn, got the chance to live the dream and ride along with New Egypt Speedway Track Champion Billy Pauch. The veteran driver gave some very helpful advice and says all his students should follow the saying "go around slow and learn from the pro".
