Internet Stalker Haunts NJ Man

Posted: Updated:
Oradell, New Jersey (My9NJ) -

A New Jersey man known as Hubcap Joe says a strange, masked man is stalking him online and threatening his business.

Joe Demarco runs a store in Oradell and also sells items on Ebay.

He says in the summer of 2012, he was contacted by a Michigan man who had a common interest in eBay.

Demarco said things went bad and now the man is trying to ruin his reputation, and his business.

The tormentor who calls himself "EBay is a Joke" has been haunting Joe's hubcap business by placing false bids on items and then not paying for them. He will also go online and place false complaints against Joe and his business.  He is even posting unflattering pictures of him.

Demarco says that this man is badgering him because he refused to support the man's  fraudulent Internet activities.  He feels like he is being harassed and wants some kind of protection.

"He has no right to badger me," DeMarco says.

Demarco has had to put a special page on his company's website warning customers about the internet stalker.
