Ronica chased the story about a new controversy surrounding Miss New Jersey. Apparently, she is not really from New Jersey! So Ronica met up with the beauty queen to talk to her about her Arkansas roots and to do some shopping of course! They hit up the Posh Boutique in Cherry Hill, New Jersey where the ladies got to bond over beauty. It turns out that Miss New Jersey isn't really breaking any rules. The pageant says that you must be living in the state that you're representing for at least 6 months and she's been here for 3 years.
Ronica tested her on her Jersey knowledge and she seemed to know her stuff. Aside from being a Bruce Springsteen fan she also loves to hit the shore in Ocean City. Her biggest goal is to promote literacy throughout New Jersey and help young kids develop their imagination. She says that she fits right in with the Jersey attitude and spunk and that she is honored to represent the Garden State this year in September. This is the first time in 7 years that the Miss America Pageant will be back in Atlantic City.
