Christie Confronted About Pot For Tot

Scotch Plains, New Jersey (My9NJ) -

Bill Anderson continues to chase the story of little Vivian who is suffering from a disease that can be helped by a special strain of marijuana.  He went to the family's hometown of Scotch Plains where Governor Christie was going to be making an appearance. The family wanted to take advantage of the first opportunity to finally speak with the Governor face-to-face about Vivian's heartbreaking condition.

Brian Wilson, the girl's father, confronted the Governor where he told him the story and asked him to help his daughter, but Christie seemed very dismissive. After asking Christie what the holdup was the Governor responded "these are complicated issues".  He went on to explain that he has looked at every document that the family brought to him and he promised he would have a decision by Friday.

The father pleaded with Christie even yelling at him as he walked away "please don't let my daughter die Governor".  Bill explains the passion this family has to help save Vivian's life.

Back in the studio the Chasers hearts go out to this family, as they discuss whether a move to Colorado is the best thing for Vivian. And, they also understand where Christie is coming from too; many feel he is just trying to do what's best for the people of New Jersey as a whole.

Almost every male has asked themselves "should I have become a race car driver?" And fellow New Jersey Chaser, Hank Flynn, got the chance to live the dream and ride along with New Egypt Speedway Track Champion Billy Pauch. The veteran driver gave some very helpful advice and says all his students should follow the saying "go around slow and learn from the pro".
