He had terminal cancer, but he also had a bucket list. On a September Tuesday, one of his last wishes was granted: 12 year old Tremaine "Trey" Sampson scored a touchdown for his school football team.

Trey has osteosarcoma, which is a rare form of bone cancer. He had his left arm amputated, which stopped the cancer.

"The day of his surgery," Trey's mother recalled. "He looked at his arm and said, 'I love you, but you're not going to kill me[;] I got my life to live.'"

However, Trey found out on September 9th that the cancer spread to his lungs. Doctors told him they couldn't do anything more. With science not on his side, Trey turned to his love of football.

After talking with the coach of his Balch Springs Jaguars, Trey got to get the first play against their rivals, the J.L. Long Bucanneers. The players all agreed that they would not tackle Trey.

Trey recalled being scared that his lungs wouldn't allow him to run the length of the pitch. But when the play started, and Trey started running, he just kept going, and his lungs held up.

He ran the length of the pitch and scored a touchdown. The crowd cheered for him on the bleachers.

"I felt happy," he said after scoring. "There were lots of mixed emotions going on. I was happy. I was sad. I was excited. It was just awesome."

Video shows players from both teams swarming the young player after his touchdown.

Despite the heartbreaking news from doctors, Trey vowed to stay strong.

"It gives me hope," he said. "The future is in the future, this is now. The present is in the present. That's all I'm worrying about."

Trey is staying strong this holiday season. His medications are working and he has no new tumors. He wishes he could play basketball this season. He currently works the concession stand to stay close to the action.

Video games may be pure fantasy, but a violent action-adventure game called "Watch Dogs" has ignited a very real debate in one South Jersey community. Watch Dog allows players to adopt the persona of a James Bond-like computer hacker, chasing an evil mastermind. People say it's chock-full of foul language, sex and violence, features dark and foreboding backdrops. The latest version, which is due out this fall may be set in Camden.
