Eric Casaburi is an extremely successful New Jersey entrepreneur.

His company Retro Fitness employs more than 1,200 people and it was a traumatizing childhood experience that geared him into a life fitness that would eventually help to make him a great New Jersey success story.

At the age of 15, Eric lost his mother to melanoma. Overcome with emotions Eric threw himself and his frustrations into a world of fitness.

Over the next several years, he gained a passion for body building and wanted to parlay that into a future in the fitness industry. Now at age 39, Eric is the founder and CEO of Retro Fitness, a multimillion dollar fitness franchise which he grew from a single location in New Jersey to a national fitness concept.

"I'm the kind of guy I don't think you want to play poker with because I'm always gonna go all in," Casaburi says. "That's just how i am."

Founded in 2006, Retro has grown to nearly 90 clubs in 11 states, with more than 150 gyms in its development pipeline. Retro Fitness gym revenues surpass the national fitness club average by more than 120 percent, with revenues surpassing $77 million.

But, a serial entrepreneur, Eric wasn’t done yet!

"I'm not your typical entrepreneur, Casaburi says. "I'm not your typical CEO, but i'm gonna make everybody a lot of money sitting in this room take it or leave it."

In September of 2011 Eric launched his second franchise venture, Let’s Yo! In Marlboro, N.J. The Frozen yogurt chain has boomed! In just 1 year he has grown this brand to 20 additional locations.

Based on a social experience, Let's YO! Yogurt has quickly become a leader in the frozen yogurt industry. Let’s YO combines the comfort of Starbucks with the modern decor of an Apple store, complete with iPads imbedded into tables, and flat-screen, closed-circuit televisions outlined on the walls. The clean, crisp, high-tech atmosphere is social minded and social forward, appealing to all customers with a goal to enrich people’s lives with a healthy, nutritious frozen yogurt.

With the launch of his newest concept and remarkable growth with Retro Fitness, Eric has proven to be a leader in the fitness, restaurant and franchise industries. He may be young, but he knows how to create a plan and turn it into a national success.

"As an entrepreneur, i think one of the biggest things most guys or gals will fight with is their ability to let go," Casaburi says.

Eric Casaburi helps prove once again, that behind every great Entrepreneur, is an even greater success story.
