Naughty Cory?

Trenton, New Jersey (My9NJ) -

Mayor of Newark, Cory Booker has said to be engaging in online “flirtation” with Portland stripper, Lynsie Lee.

Lynsie Lee is now, a well-known stripper who has made the conscious decision of becoming a stripper because it brings more income and has more flexible hours for her to be with her family. She has recently publicized her and Cory Booker’s flirty online relationship and said that she fully supports him, has contributed money to his campaign and wants him to become president.

The communication between the two has evolved via twitter. Lee tweeted “the west coast loves you, I hope you’re President, and I love you especially.” in which Booker’s response was a private “DM” through twitter.

TMZ’s Harvey Levin has been at the forefront of this story. “Lynsie Lee is a smart woman…She didn’t do anything salacious. She has a crush on Cory Booker, so what?” He said.

Lee isn’t flattered by all the attention she is getting for her ongoing twitter relationship with Booker. “I think it’s ridiculous. We both have jobs, we both are single adults.” She said.

Although there is nothing illegal about this situation, is it inappropriate for a politician to be conversing with a stripper? Or is it just one of those things that American’s over think and are making a fuss out of nothing?

Lee plans to continue to tweet about Booker and show support of his campaign.
