There were recently two incidents of alleged luring in Ridgewood, N.J. In both cases, middle-school aged children were involved. The most recent incident occurred on November 1st at the intersection of N. Monroe and Sheridan Terrace. The first incident occurred on October 25.

Ronica chased this to John Ward, the Ridgewood Police Chief. Chief Ward described the most recent offender as "a white male, in his 50s-60s, about 6ft 2in, heavy set, gray hair, balding with dark sunglasses, and a t-shirt that was stained."

Chief Ward could not confirm if the perpetrators in each case were the same. He is adamant about finding anyone involved in these alleged luring incidents and said, "Any child is one of our children and it is our intention to find out who this was."

    The Bergen County Sheriff's Department is proposing to militarize their police force! This involves them wanting an MRAP, which is a Mine-Resistant Ambush Protected Vehicle. This vehicle is actually used by the military in Iraq and Afghanistan. According to the military this isn't unheard of. Recently, the US government has given these vehicles away to law enforcement departments all over the country.

    Bergen County Community College athlete, Brittany Meyer, received an injury on the court while playing for the women's basketball team. What she didn't realize was that this injury left her with a $100,000 medical bill in her name!As Meyer was going up for a routine lay-up she fell down the wrong way, which caused her to tear her ACL.
