Global Winter Wonderland opens at Turner Field

If you Christmas wish list includes trips to see the Eiffel Tower, the Great Pyramids and the Leaning Tower of Pisa, you are in luck.

Some of the greatest manmade wonders in the world have saved you the trip by coming to Atlanta for the holidays.

Global Winter Wonderland is a celebration of Christmas around the world. It is billed as a "multi-cultural lantern festival" and makes its debut this weekend.

The event runs through January 5th. It is open 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. daily at Turner Field. Single-day tickets are around $25 for adults with discounts for children and seniors.
