Trenton, New Jersey (My9NJ) -

Kevin Storm is New Jersey’s youngest radio Host.

Storm explained that he and his mother were on their way down to a health- expo in Richmond Virginia when he got the idea that he could be on the radio.

“My mom saw the advertisement on the station management’s car and when we were back in Jersey, the following weekend we called, and he said that it would be a good idea to have a kid on the station,” Storm explained. The rest is history as Storm’s radio show then started in March 2013.

Storm’s radio show focuses on animals, the homeless and the hungry. Storm is also known for being a vegan.

There have been guests on Storm’s show, including Honey LaBronx who is a New York City Vegan Drag Queen. Storm said “One of the funniest things she said on the air was that the only educational background she had was a semester of college and she said that’s all you really need.”

Viewers can hear Storms show by using the smartphone app” TuneIn”, or if you’re in the Philadelphia area, you can listen to WNJC 1360AM Philly between 12-12:30 PM EST.

The race in Newark to replace now Senator Cory Booker is getting publicity for all the wrong reasons. Some are choking it up to dirty politics with campaign buses being torched, offices being broken into and inappropriate fliers circulating around town encouraging people to “vote black”, even though both candidates are African American. With many people questioning what is going on in Newark, former Mayor Sharpe James chimed in to discuss the city’s current political landscape.
