Police ID Driver Killed In Crash That Shut Down I-476 South

RADNOR, Pa. -

One person is dead following a one car collision along the Blue Route in Radnor, Delaware County.

Police say the driver 22-year old Edward Harre was speeding and lost control of his car just after 2 a.m. Friday at the St. David's/Villanova exit.

The car hit a median and overturned several times before landing on its roof. They say the driver was thrown from the vehicle and died at the scene.

The accident caused traffic delays and the closure of the southbound lanes of Interstate 476 until 7:30 a.m. There were no other injuries.
