Broadway's Cady Huffman - My9 New Jersey

Broadway's Cady Huffman

Posted: Updated:

Welcome to the new year and my first Valerie's New Jersey podcast for 2014. Hope you had a great holiday season!

Broadway star Cady Huffman is my special guest on this week's show. Cady is known for her award winning performance as Ulla in The Producers, as well as her star turn in The Will Rogers Follies and most recently, her role in The Nance, with co-star Nathan Lane.

I love watching Cady as a celebrity judge on the fabulous Food Network show, Iron Chef. Cady is indeed a woman of many talents, and she will be debuting her new one woman show next week at 54 Below in Manhattan.

Cady has another passion that may not be known to the general public. And you can hear all about this unknown fact about a Broadway star on this week's Valerie's New Jersey.

Also, a way to get your pooch fit for the new year, and while you're at it, an opportunity to try a fitness regimen for yourself. Plus a new craze has hit New Jersey: cocktails and painting with Paint Nite. The bridal season is upon us, and Depasquale Spa in Morris Plains will host a bridal brunch for brides to be.

And don't miss the Pick of the Week, a bar owned by reality television stars.

I'd love to hear from you. Email me at: valeriesnj@gmail.com

On this week's Valerie's New Jersey, a story about the only long distance running cat in the world. Her trainer, owner and dad, Michael Greenblatt, found her one day during an early morning run, and an instant bond was formed. Every day, the abandoned kitty would watch Michael on his run, and one day she joined in. Michael adopted the cat, called her Roadrunner, and started training the frisky feline.
