Upper Merion Police: Five Female Suspects Taking Apple Products

UPPER MERION TWP., Pa. -

Police in Upper Merion are trying to find five females who they say have been targeting area Apple Stores.

At least two iPad Airs and 20 iPhones have been stole by the group, say investigators. According to officials, the females are repeat offenders who have hit stores in Suburban Square, King of Prussia and other places in Upper and Lower Merion. One confirmed incident happened on December 23rd and another incident happened on January 3rd.

Police say that two of the women stand outside the store and act as guards, while three others go in. One woman then distract the employees inside while the other two steal products.

Police are actively investigating but don't have surveillance or a concrete description of the suspects yet. They also say that this group may be responsible for thefts in Philadelphia and Willow Grove as well.
