CUMBERLAND VALLEY TWP., Pa. (AP) - Authorities say that a tour bus driving too fast on a snow-covered road crashed in southwestern Pennsylvania and more than 20 passengers were injured.

Western Maryland Health Systems spokeswoman Kathy Rogers says 15 patients were brought there and all but three with minor injuries are expected to be treated and released.

UPMC Bedford spokeswoman Susan Manko says 10 patients were treated and released from the hospital.

State police say the accident occurred around 2:20 p.m. on Route 220 near Black Walnut Farm Road in Cumberland Valley Township, about five miles from the Maryland border.

Police say 65-year-old Terrence Harold Shultz lost control of the bus and struck an embankment.

Bedford County Director of Emergency Services David Cubbison says that it snowed all day in the area, causing numerous accidents.
