New Brunswick Murder - My9 New Jersey

New Brunswick Murder

Posted: Updated:
New Brunswick, New Jersey (My9NJ) - A former Rutgers University student William “Billy” McCaw was found dead Saturday morning lying in the snow in the backyard of a home in New Brunswick, New Jersey.

Police have not offered any answers or clues as to what happened to McCaw and local prosecutors say that this is an ongoing investigation.

McCaw’s body is still being examined to pin-point the exact cause of death. Initially it looked like McCaw may have died from blunt-force trauma to the head.

McCaw transferred out of Rutgers and was currently a student at Kean University in Union, New Jersey when the murder took place. He was a member of the Pi Kappa Phi Fraternity.

Neighbors say that there was no party going on at the house where McCaw was found the night before he was killed, but students at the Office of Fraternity Affairs spoke off-the-record and mentioned a party that took place elsewhere Friday night and that McCaw was seen there at one point in the night.

A candlelight vigil will be held on campus across from the main dining hall for students and friends to pay their respects.

At this time, there are still many unanswered questions surrounding this tragic death.

StubHub, which is a website that provides services for buyers and sellers for tickets to sporting events, concerts, and other live entertainment events, has been hacked. StubHub is getting a lot of bad press, but the site is really the victim here. The hackers have hacked accounts from other sites, and then used that information to get into the StubHub accounts.
