KISS Vandals Wreak Havoc On Auto Body Shop

Posted: Updated:
Saddle Brook, New Jersey (My9NJ) - Like “Creatures of The Night”, four vandals created a “Psycho Circus” in a Saddle Brook auto body shop parking lot last Saturday. The “Destroyers” stomped, smashed and spray-painted more than two dozen cars.

The foursome was “Dressed To Kill”, and if all of these KISS album title references haven’t given it away by now, this group of vandals caused this chaos while wearing Paul Stanley masks.

Maaco Owner Walter Karol discussed these disguised bandits whose antics were all caught on surveillance camera.

“(They had) masks and then, no gloves, I mean what are they doing? How dumb can you get?” He said.

Cops haven’t made any arrests that we’re aware of at this time, but they’ve got a lot of clues which includes: fingerprints on spray cans, two damaged cars and footprints that were left on the back of a Cadillac.

The vandals used shovels, fire extinguishers and spray cans to destroy cars in the lot. At one time, even setting off a security alarm on a Mercedes they were beating on. Video shows the group running away once the alarm sounded, only to change their minds and return to unleash more of a “Sonic Boom”.

Karol estimates that there’s been about $40 thousand worth of damage to about 25 cars in his shop.

“Walking around you wouldn’t think it was that many until you start counting them you know. I went to every car and I was like ‘let me see if they touched it’. When I was done, I couldn’t believe how many cars were hit,” he explained.

Now as you can imagine Saddle Brook police are “Hotter Than Hell” on this. They intend to get “Revenge” on these vandals and finally “Unmask” the Paul Stanley vandals.

The lake is called Lake Hopatcong but some would call it Lake "Hopat-conda"! Recently, there was a fifteen-foot anaconda spotted in the lake by local resident Tony Colantonio. According to Colantonio, the snake was actually harassing him while he was swimming in the lake so he proceeded to sprint out with no harm done."It was straight across, right where the boat is but a little further back. And I just got out of the water and just took off like a bandit!" He said.

The crisis in Israel continues to grow as the Israeli’s defend themselves against Hamas terrorist groups. Yesterday a slew of politicians and hundreds of New Jersey residents showed up to a rally in the Garden State to help support Israel as the conflict with Palestinian terror group Hamas gets even worse.
