The New York City area was expected to see some snow by Wednesday morning, but that did not materialize. What can be expected is very windy conditions throughout the day.
A wind advisory is in effect from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Gusts could reach 50 mph.
Earlier in the week the forecast called for a coating up to 2 inches of snow and more for Long Island, but Mother Nature spared the region the wintry weather.
The National Weather Service reported 6½ inches of snow fell in Cape May, there was 5½ inches in Middle Township, 4 inches at Atlantic City International Airport, little more than an inch in Island Heights and a trace in Freehold.
The good news is it looks like it will be near 60 degrees on Friday, so just hold on for a few more days.
