New Jersey’s Need For Speed

Posted: Updated:
New Egypt, New Jersey (My9NJ) -

Almost every male has asked themselves "should I have become a race car driver?" And fellow New Jersey Chaser, Hank Flynn, got the chance to live the dream and ride along with New Egypt Speedway Track Champion Billy Pauch. The veteran driver gave some very helpful advice and says all his students should follow the saying "go around slow and learn from the pro".

Pauch runs a racing school where people get their chance behind the wheel. In fact, racing seems to be a family affair for the entire Pauch household. Billy's daughter Mandee and son Billy Jr. also partake in the need for speed.

"Really it's what brings us together I mean if it wasn't for racing. I don't know what, I don't know what normal people do," Mandee said.

And safety is key when it comes to the course. Regardless of the temperature outside every racer must wear a nomex fire suit. ‘If you're going to drive you've got to survive', that's just another taste of Pauch's driving tips.

"We want you to be smooth, passionate, and keep your calm. We don't need to wreck these things they're way too expensive…Pace yourself and get a feel for it and you'll be alright," Pauch Jr. explained.

Luckily for Hank, he survived the trip, but the Chaser did end up spinning out. All in all he promises it was a great experience! The daredevil Chaser walked away with his own need for speed and a new appreciated for the sport.

StubHub, which is a website that provides services for buyers and sellers for tickets to sporting events, concerts, and other live entertainment events, has been hacked. StubHub is getting a lot of bad press, but the site is really the victim here. The hackers have hacked accounts from other sites, and then used that information to get into the StubHub accounts.
