Joe Morton on playing 'Rowan Pope' in 'Scandal' - My9 New Jersey

Joe Morton on playing 'Rowan Pope' in 'Scandal'

Posted: Updated:
NEW YORK (MYFOXNY) - The season three finale of the hit series, 'Scandal,' airs Thursday night. Fans will learn the answer to the pressing question: what happens to Rowan Pope (the father of Kerry Washington's character)?

When things left off, Morton had killed his ex-wife's lover.

"And I loved every minute of it," joked the star.

He wasn't divulging much in terms of the finale plot during his interview with Good Day NY, but he did say the show was a highlight of his life.

"It’s amazing. It’s a job of a lifetime, to have that kind of material offered to you on an episode by episode basis is a dream," said Morton.

The actor, who played a scientist in 'Terminator 2,'  first broke into show business in the 1980s in the movie, 'Brother From Another Planet.'

"Right now, I am what I call 'globally homeless.' I was paying for rent in Vancouver and for rent in New York... I'm not sure whether to live in New York City or the west coast," said Morton.

One thing he knows for sure is that he isn't saying much about the finale. Will he survive and is he back next season?

"I won't tell you," said Morton.

Check out 'Scandal' on ABC at 10 p.m.
