Police: Twerking Outside Beaverton City Hall Leads To Arrests

Posted: Updated:

Beaverton, OR-Oregon police received an unusual call on Monday afternoon.

Police say three women were "twerking" in front of Beaverton City Hall, and their performance led to a serious find by police.

According to police, Christiane Coura-Velaszquez came to municipal court to pay a fine and she brought her two friends.

When the women left, they allegedly started twerking outside the courtroom windows, lifting up their skirts and exposing themselves.

Officials say Brittany Medak urinated between two cars in the parking lot.

City hall employees saw them in action and contacted police.

As the women drove off, an officer followed and pulled them over nearby.

Court records show that Medak was behind the wheel and admitted that she peed in the parking lot saying she had a bladder infection.

According to authorities, they smelled marijuana and Medak agreed to let them search the car.

Documents say officers found pot, meth, cocaine and other prescription drugs.

Police arrested the women and took them to jail.
