Cars, homes damaged in retaining wall collapse

Posted: Updated:
NEW YORK (MYFOXNY) - It's not clear what caused the retaining wall behind two garages to collapse in Crown Heights, Brooklyn on Friday.

Heavy rain along the East Coast this week has been responsible for several landslides and severe flooding.

At about 7 a.m. on Friday, the wall near 743 Crown St. came crashing down, taking with it at least four cars, according to fire officials.

SkyFoxHD was over the area where a huge pile of debris, dirt and the submerged vehicles could be seen.

There were no immediate reports of injuries.

In Baltimore, Maryland, a landslide destroyed 10 cars. The collapse was caught on video.
