Controversy Continues Over Viral Abortion Video

Posted: Updated:
Cherry Hill, New Jersey (My9NJ) - Yesterday 25-year-old Emily Letts of Cherry Hill, New Jersey spoke out about her decision to videotape her abortion and put it out on YouTube. The video has gotten over a million views, but her story doesn’t come without controversy.

Greg Quinlan with the NJ Family Policy Council described the video as barbaric and commercial.

“It looks like a commercial. She advertises herself as a professional actress and everything she did was sort of callus and cavalier, coy and like ‘oh my god I’m pregnant, oh my gosh’. There was something really salacious, something very sick about the way she did,” he explained.

Quinlan also said that he doesn’t think this video helped her cause at all and he sticks by his stance against abortions in general.

“Should abortion be outlawed? I think it should be outlawed in most instances, yes,” he confirmed.

Quinlan says that making the decision to have an abortion at a young age ends up affecting women more and more as they get older.

“As a nurse, and someone in ministry also, I deal with these women who are now in their 30’s and 40’s who deeply regret what they’ve done who are paying the consequences emotionally for the decision they made earlier in their life without the proper education…But let’s make sure we have an informed choice with all the information out there because what I saw with her (Emily Letts) specifically, was cavalier and callous,” Quinlan said.

Clearly not everyone is going to agree on this controversial video, and everyone is entitled to their own opinions and views. Because this video created such a strong reaction, Patch.com created a poll for viewers to weigh in with what they thought. Be sure to check it out and chime in!

StubHub, which is a website that provides services for buyers and sellers for tickets to sporting events, concerts, and other live entertainment events, has been hacked. StubHub is getting a lot of bad press, but the site is really the victim here. The hackers have hacked accounts from other sites, and then used that information to get into the StubHub accounts.
