Some couples skip sex on their wedding night

MYFOXNY.COM -

Up to 52 percent of married couples are saying "screw sex" on their wedding night and are opting out, according to a report. But why? For one, these days, eight out of 10 couples are already living together.

Also, in the 1950s, weddings only lasted two hours. Now some after-parties drag out until 6 a.m. So couples simply pass out instead of make out.

Wedding planner Jeannie Uyanik says exhaustion is just one problem. So people aren't getting the bang for their buck? They are, she says, but in other areas.

Sex therapist Ian Kerner says that planning a wedding and getting married can get you so angry that the "last thing you want to do is sleep with that person."

We know what else you're thinking: how did researchers get the facts for this study in the first place? From secure and open couples willing to admit to it, says Uyanik.
