All The Governor’s Men

Posted: Updated:
Trenton, New Jersey (My9NJ) - The ongoing investigation into bridgegate continues as more and more members of the Christie administration are brought in to testify. Yesterday, the Governor’s Chief of Staff Kevin O’Dowd testified in front of the special legislative committee.

In his opening statement, O’Dowd said that he had no knowledge or involvement in the lane closures. He did explain that he had asked Bridget Kelly if she had any involvement in the closures which backed up traffic for miles in Fort Lee and she also said that she didn’t. O’Dowd said he was surprised to find out later that she was in fact involved.

Also in attendance was Christie’s former campaign manager Bill Stepien who had actually refused to testify and comply with the subpoena from the legislative committee investigating bridgegate. He was was fired by the governor alleging that he was one of the staffers who lied to him.

While at Camden High School yesterday, Governor Christie answered some reporter’s questions surrounding the ongoing bridgegate investigation and discussed his expectations regarding O’Dowd’s testimony.

“We have expectations that Kevin will tell the truth as he’s told it right from the beginning and that it will dispense with the matter as it applies to him,” he said.

Throughout the testimony Assemblyman Wisniewski was getting frustrated with O’Dowd’s attorney because some of the documents and text messages that were referred to had never been given to the legislative committee even though they had been subpoenaed.

StubHub, which is a website that provides services for buyers and sellers for tickets to sporting events, concerts, and other live entertainment events, has been hacked. StubHub is getting a lot of bad press, but the site is really the victim here. The hackers have hacked accounts from other sites, and then used that information to get into the StubHub accounts.
