Kids Stepping On LEGOs For DVD Discounts

PORTLAND, ME- Almost everyone has experienced the blinding pain of stepping on a LEGO...but doing it voluntarily?

Some kids at a record store in Maine are putting their feet on the line to get a deal on "The LEGO Movie."

Dozens of kids lined up to walk across a path filled with LEGO blocks at The Bull Moose in Portland.

It's part of the DVD and Blu-Ray release of the LEGO movie.

Kids who braved the blocks got a few bucks off a copy of the hit film.

"If you've ever had LEGOs or you're a parent with kids that have LEGOs, you know that they're all over the floor all the time and also they are incredibly painful to step on in the dark," said store manager Mick Pratt.

The LEGO walk is also a play on the traditional Polynesian fire-walk, which is also known to be pretty painful.
